The pop upthis is My Submission for the D&AD new blood awards where the brief was to create a marekting solution for Depop which will being consumers together. I created ‘The Pop Up’, a two day festival celebrating sustainable fashion.The festival will feature stalls from Depop’s top sellers alongside a curated fashion show where top buyers will be invited to model.
Sustainability will be embedded throughout the festival with biodegradable food packaging, recycled tote bags and performances from local independent artists.procreate, Adobe Photoshop
I started by creating the logo for the pop up festival. I kept the iconic red/black colour combination to show that it is linked to Depop and used the 3D effect which is often used for music festival posters.
I used the procreate software for all of the illustrations and limited myself to 3 colours: black, red and white.
This is the final poster for the festival
During the festival time, the Depop app will have a dedicated section for users to enter and navigate around The Pop Up event
