The pop up
This is my submission for the D&AD New Blood Awards, where the brief was to create a marketing solution for Depop that would bring consumers together.

I created ‘The Pop Up’, a two-day festival celebrating sustainable fashion. The festival would feature stalls from Depop’s top sellers, alongside a curated fashion show where top buyers would be invited to model.

Sustainability would be embedded throughout the event, with biodegradable food packaging, recycled tote bags, and performances from local independent artists.
procreate, Adobe Photoshop

I started by creating the logo for The Pop Up festival. I kept Depop's iconic red and black colour palette to maintain a clear connection to the brand, and incorporated a 3D effect inspired by the bold typography often seen on music festival posters.

I used Procreate for all of the illustrations and limited myself to three colours: black, red, and white. This helped create a consistent visual style across the campaign.

This is the final poster for The Pop Up festival.

During the festival, the Depop app would feature a dedicated section where users could access information about and navigate The Pop Up event.

This is the full presentation for my D&AD New Blood submission.
